Initially conceived to celebrate Louis Vuitton\u2019s bicentennial birthday, this ambitious homage heads onward from Singapore, welcoming a new wave of visitors to experience an ephemeral presentation space and discover the creations up close. From its debut in Asni\u00e8res at the Louis Vuitton family house then onward to Singapore and Los Angeles, this fourth destination is enhanced with several new spaces, welcoming visitors with an inspiring experience. Occupying the landmark Barneys New York building, the temporary revival of its iconic caf\u00e9 Freds will bring fresh energy to the beloved location.<\/p>\n
\u201c200 TRUNKS, 200 VISIONARIES: THE EXHIBITION\u201d has traveled to New York City for the fourth and final stop on its international tour. The LOUIS 200 project invited a mosaic of talents and friends spanning arts and culture, the sciences, sports, global causes, and more to personalize a metaphorical blank canvas measuring approximately the same dimensions as the original trunk that Louis conceived in the 1850s. Among the 200 extraordinary transformations, talents including Willo Perron, Francesca Sorrenti, Refik Anadol, and Franky Zapata were exclusively showcased in NY.<\/p>\n
At the end of the immersive circuit, visitors can discover The Workshop, a versatile space that will host cultural, educational, and artistic activities on an ongoing basis. Additionally, Louis Vuitton has opened FREDS x LOUIS in conjunction with the exhibition, reviving Barneys\u2019 iconic restaurant Freds for a limited time.<\/p>\n
