Fleurs de Villes FEMMES, a floral tribute to significant women, makes its New York debut October 7, 2022 with a free, 10-day public event.
Back by popular demand, Fleurs de Villes returns to Hudson Yards. From October 6th – 15th , The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards will come alive with 16 floral mannequins, each created by a local florist, depicting significant women throughout time. From tennis champion Serena Williams to broadway legend Bette Midler, from JLo to first lady Eleanor Roosevelt, each FEMME has made a significant impact on the course of history and the lives of women everywhere. QR codes at each installation will link to immersive biographies of each FEMME so that people of all ages can learn more about these women’s impact on society. Make it a day of flower fun – register for a floral workshop, grab lunch at one of the many restaurants on site, and pick up a bouquet at the pop-up flower market.
