On June 19th, \u00a0Artechouse would like you to experience ASE: AFRO FREQUENCIES for FREE. \u00a0Join the dance with Thousand Masks<\/strong>, which celebrates the cultural diversity found throughout Africa or\u00a0immerse yourself in Afrotude<\/strong>, a transformative audio-visual installation that resonates with your movements.\u00a0“A\u1e63\u1eb9” (pronounced \u201cAH-shay\u201d), the title of the exhibition, is derived from a powerful mantra, affirmation, and philosophical belief held by the Yoruba people of West Africa, meaning \u201cso will it be.\u201d It is invoked to produce positive change, and its spirit echoes throughout the exhibit.<\/p>\n

The exhibition’s centerpiece, Vision of the Black Experience<\/strong>, guides us through themes of resilience, cultural celebration, and future possibilities. The primary cinematic experience is complemented by interactive auxiliary galleries that expand on themes of rebirth, community, and spiritual connection.<\/p>\n

Bold, beautiful, powerful; step into this vibrant Afrosurrealist exhibition, featuring the work of London-based Afro-surrealist digital artist Vince Fraser along with poetry by ursula rucker.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The spirit of a\u1e63\u1eb9 \u2014 a powerful affirmation and philosophical belief held by the Yoruba people of West Africa, meaning \u201cso will it be\u201d \u2014 reverberates throughout this vibrant and meditative exhibition. Everyone should experience this immersive story of resilience, cultural celebration, and the possibility of the future.<\/p>\n
