We had the pleasure of sitting down with Chef Mejias, he has informed us that his inspiration and love for food came from watching his mom as a kid. In his lifetime of cooking food, Chef Mejias had an opportunity to work at a renowned Michelin Star restaurant with some of the best in his field. This French inspired cuisine The Norm, has given Chef Mejias a chance to really enjoy what he feel he was born to do, create! Chef Mejias, is inspired by several dishes from the Maxim’s de Paris cookbook, but has also created a few of his own that made our palettes dance of joy. Talking to Chef Mejias, you could hear and feel the passion in his voice for the love of what he does. After a long conversation with Chef Mejias, not only is being a chef a career choice for him it’s his life long dream. It was a true honor to have dined at The Norm and we will definitely will be back again.
