Hip-hop hooray! Join us for a festive opening celebration of Dianne Smith: Two Turntables & a Microphone, featuring a special live performance by legendary rapper, Slick Rick.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, we will debut Smith’s site-specific multimedia installation. The exhibition celebrates Black joy and expressions of identity that hip-hop has fostered through its community-building power, as evidenced by the parties back in the day.
Registration Guidelines
Due to limited capacity, RSVP is required at check-in and entry is based on a first come, first serve basis. If we’ve reached capacity in our event space, you may be asked to wait for entry. Walk-ins will be considered for entry based on capacity, priority is given to those who already RSVP’d.
