Lets get right into this years AFROPUNK Brooklyn’s Festival of 2023….. the annual music festival and cultural event held in Brooklyn, New York on August 26th & 27th, 2023. AfroPunk celebrates black culture, community, creativity, and individuality, featuring a diverse lineup of artists across various genres, including music, fashion, art, and activism.  This years headliner, Teyana Taylor graced the stage with an electrifying performance that transformed the audience into the Janet Jackson era which felt like the early 90’s. This years location was a whole different vibe over looking the East River, with unbeatable views of the Manhattan skyline, Greenpoint Terminal Market provides a picturesque location for the performances and trademark AFROPUNK activations, including the Spinthrift Market and AFROPUNK’s Bites ‘n Beats. AFROPUNK transformed the space, adding lawns, trees, and other shade structures to allow for a soothing and soulful day outside.
