Central Park’s Loeb Boathouse & Restaurant Fully Reopens This Week

by

Last spring, a contract between the NYC Parks Department and Legends Hospitality—the group that provides concessions to places like Yankee Stadium and One World Observatory—was signed, allowing the venue to reopen with renewed vigor. Complete with a full restaurant, snack bar, and boat rentals, the Boathouse is ready to welcome visitors.

The contract also promised to complete renovations and improvements to the structure that would restore the city’s only lakefront venue to its original grandeur. The new restaurant boasts an upgraded bar area with improved lake views, a refreshed color scheme to mirror its natural surroundings, a new stone floor,  expanded restrooms, and brand-new lighting.

Lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch reservations are now open, and the menu offers items like brioche French toast and crab cake benedict for brunch and lamb loin, duck ragout, and Chilean sea bass for dinner. Dessert items include honey buttermilk panna cotta, dulcey blonde chocolate tart, and black velvet cake.
