Little Red Lighthouse Festival

Celebrate Manhattan’s only remaining lighthouse with a trip into the Little Red Lighthouse, Urban Park Ranger educational presentations, readings of The Little Red Lighthouse and the Great Gray Bridge children’s book, fishing clinics, live music, food vendors, and activities for the whole family!
The lighthouse will be open for walk-up/walk-down visits and the NYC Urban Park Rangers will do multiple educational presentations from the stage to enrich your lighthouse experience.
Entrances to the festival are from the street at 181st Street or 156th Street with a walk to arrive at the lighthouse under the bridge. There is no shuttle service scheduled for this year.

Noon to 12:30 p.m. –  LRL Musical – Jessica Ann Carp
12:45 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. –  Urban Park Rangers presentation
1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. –  Big Apple Marching Band
2:15 p.m. to Reading of the The Little Red Lighthouse and the Great Gray Bridge
2:25 p.m. to 2:50 p.m. –  Urban Park Rangers presentation
2:50 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Jake Tavill blues
3:30 p.m.  to 4:00 –  Reading of the The Little Red Lighthouse and the Great Gray Bridge
