
Christmas Tree Arrival & Lighting – Rockefeller Center
Join Rockefeller Center on the plaza as they welcome the 20224 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree from Massachusetts, the first tree to hail from the state since 1959! The Norway Spruce from West Stockbridge, MA, in the Southern Berkshires region, will be cut on Thursday, November 7, 2024, and arrive on Center Plaza on Saturday, November 9, 2024.
Tree Arrival Family Festivities
This year’s Tree Arrival Family Festivities boasts a day of fun for the whole family as the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree makes it’s way onto the Plaza. Programming will take place on South Plaza, as well as additional happenings Under 30 Rock and at Top of the Rock. Featuring:
Performances by The Rock and Roll Playhouse: The largest performer of kid-friendly live concerts in the nation will be performing classic holiday covers
Book Readings: Join McNally Jackson for holiday storytimes on the Plaza
Caricature Artists: Get a caricature portrait done by one of our professional artists at Top of the Rock. *Complimentary with apurchased ticket to Top of the Rock
Visit from Santa and his elves: Be sure to head Under 30 Rock to see Santa and his elves! While you’re there refuel with a bite to eat or quick drink from one of our many retailer options.
You may even get a chance to see real snow!

The annual Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting Ceremony wiil take place on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. during the live broadcast “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree will be on display until mid-January 2025.
