Summer Jazz at Scandinavia House

This summer Scandinavia House hosts five performances with some of Scandinavia’s most talented young jazz musicians, composers, and singers. All concerts will be preceded by drinks on the Volvo Hall terrace starting at 6 PM.
Oksar Stenmark NY-Nordic Quartet –THU—7–21–2016—7 PM
The Oskar Stenmark NY-Nordic Quartet combines the jazz sounds of New York and Sweden to create something that has never been heard before. In this concert, you will hear compositions from jazz legends Jan Johansson and Lars Gullin who incorporated Nordic folk melodies into their work.
