Yomi Sode and Miles Hodges: A Reflection on Shakespeare
Stop by Astor Hall on September 16 as NYPL’s For the Public performance art series kicks off with A Reflection on Shakespeare. Just as Shakespeare played with words, so too did he experiment with the concept of masculinity. Spoken-word artists Yomi Sode and Miles Hodges honor the legacy of the master penman by riffing on language to deliver reflections on masculinity today. The event is free and begins at 7 PM.
Advance registration is recommended. Limited seating available upon request. Alcohol will be available for purchase. Must be 21 or over with valid photo ID. Please note photo ID must be provided at check-in.
