During 32 hours of nonstop fun and surprises, guests will be treated to live musical and spoken word performances, films, dance, and interactive experiences for the entire family. Advance registration is required.
Free general admission tickets are timed, and include access to all museum exhibitions plus Voice of the City musical performances, family activities, and more.
Special performance and event tickets are available for featured events, including: Storytelling Slam with The Moth, Silent Disco; overnight films, morning yoga, Broadway Celebrates New York; NYC Trivia Hour; Gospel Morning; Salsa Afternoon with Los Ciegos del Barrio; Walt Whitman in New York; Family Dance sessions and more.Some events require a fee.
New York at Its Core is a major, multi-media exhibition on New York City’s sweeping 400-year history of growth and transformation. Five years in the making, it will tell the compelling story of New York’s rise from a striving Dutch village to today’s “Capital of the World,” a preeminent global city now facing the future in a changing world. The exhibition encompasses more than 400 objects and state-of-the-art interactives presented in three galleries on the Museum’s first floor.
