B.B. King Blues Club presents Gloria Gaynor in concert. Born in Newark, Gaynor recorded one of the biggest hits of the disco era with “I Will Survive,” the timeless anthem which topped the charts in 1979 and won the only Grammy Award ever given for Best Disco Recording. Gaynor, whose other hits include the 1976 soul single “Never Can Say Goodbye,” has continued touring and recording ever since, earning multiple hits on the Billboard dance charts and garnering a devoted following.
