The Library After Hours
Join us on select Fridays for a special themed evening featuring music, food and drinks, performances, and behind-the-scenes access to the Library’s collections.
Love in Venice, the newest exhibition at The New York Public Library, opens February 10. Part of Carnegie Hall’s citywide festival, La Serenissima: Music and Arts from the Venetian Republic, Love in Venice delights itself in the cultural, literary, artistic, and musical seductions of the Venetian Republic: its beautiful courtesans, lavish festivals, lively carnivals, and libertine counterculture.
The Library After Hours joins that celebration on February 24 from 6:30-9 PM. We’ll have specialty cocktails, Italian snacks, guided curator tours of the Love in Venice exhibition, music and dance lessons, mask-making, and short Venetian films from the Library’s archives.
