Chadwick Boseman as "Marshall" : Free Screening

Join us for a screening of Reginald Hudlin’s “Marshall,” starring Chadwick Boseman as Thurgood Marshall, the first African-American Supreme Court justice. The film follows Marshall on one of the first cases of his career, working as a lawyer for the NAACP defending people of color who have been falsely accused of crimes due to racial bias. As Peter Travers wrote for Rolling Stone, “Charged by Boseman’s dramatic lightning, Marshall gives us an electrifying glimpse of a great man in the making.”
The program will begin promptly at 6 PM on the second floor of the library. Please be advised that seating is first come, first served, so we recommend arriving early!
