Queens is a very important part of New York City and Taste of Queens 2019 proved it on May 7th at New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. This tasteful event was jammed packed with a variety of restaurateurs, chefs and vendors all based out of Queens NYC. Cocktails, food, and a long list of desserts all lined up and waiting for you.
You could smell the aroma of food as you entered, delight and enjoyment was written all over everyone’s face. We were surprised that a lot of these restaurants, actually located in queens and don’t get the credit they deserve when it comes to great food. Taste of Queens has definitely made a mark for us to spread the word on where to go in Queens when it comes to taste, service and quality food. Queens Curry Kitchen, was one of our favorites with their Nacho-Nacho, a special tex mex infusion and a spike of heat with jalapenos. Casa del Chef had a mouth watering Grilled Branzino with a special sauce that kept us captivated and wanting more.
Delicious cocktails were made by Leaf Bar and Lounge, and ooh were they delicious! Brooklyn Brewery, Square Wine & Spirits and Catskill Distillery all were a true delight. There were over 40+ vendors all under one roof and we wanted to taste them all. If you missed it, don’t worry we will make sure to let you know next year. We are looking forward to see whats in store next year in the heart of Queens!
