Erika Harrsch: Performance and Book Presentation

El Museo del Barrio together with the Mexican Cultural Institute, the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMERCED), the Consulate General of Mexico in New York, and Gary Goldring present Mexican artist Erika Harrsch in collaboration with the internationally acclaimed Mexican singer Magos Herrera for a performance of “The Dream Act,” an imaginative perspective on the loaded reality of the immigration conundrum.
Following the performance Erika Harrsh will be in conversation with Richard Vine, art-critic and Managing Editor of Art in America, and Independent curator Elvis Fuentes to discuss Harrsch’s oeuvre, influences, and works spanning a decade of collaborative artistic production in New York.
A book signing with Erika Harrsch and cocktails will follow the program.
