Hip Hop Talks with Kool DJ Red Alert-Celebrating 35 Years on the Radio

Let’s celebrate the 35th anniversary of Kool DJ Red Alert with special guests hosted by Ralph McDaniels. This event will give you an inside scoop on how he become successful as a radio personality and maintained his presence in the hip hop community and on NYC radio. Kool DJ Red Alert is a pioneering hip hop deejay who is responsible for the emergence of rap music on the radio air waves in the early 1980’s. He is the only deejay honored with a display in the radio section of the Rock Hall of Fame in Cleveland Ohio and in the Bronx Walk of Fame.
