Thrillist Taco Knockout 2019

Taco Knockout is an annual throwdown that foodies look forward to each year. This year we had an opportunity to see why this most anticipated event of the year is always sold out. Just a few days before Cinco De Mayo, everyone was ready to sink their teeth into some of the best tacos made by over 14 of the best NYC taquerias. Each one of these outrageously good tacos made with “super-fresh” fillings were definitely conversation starters. We had the pleasure of tasting each and every on. These mouth watering, super crunchy or soft tacos had the entire venue smelling delicious, Burger & Lobster had an amazing Truffle Aioli, Braised Tri-Tip Lobster Taco with sliced jalapeno and Herb Crema that was super delicious.

 

Anejo Tribeca put together a Smoked Pistachio Salsa Macha, Spring Herbs with a topped Pickled Radish , a true pleasure. This jammed paced event had everyone enjoying their Instagram moment with the a photo booth and a mind blowing Michelada bar that was fully stocked with every detail including bacon, pickles, tasty chili chicken and a line up of seasoning to add a beautiful finishing touch to your cocktail. Modelo Beer spiked up the evening as well. You were given a token to vote for just one which seemed impossible. Our vote is top secret! Thanks Thrilists for such an amazing night!
