The Harlem Cultural Festival

The Harlem Cultural Festival is a revival of the Tony Lawrence produced festivals in Harlem of the late 1960s. Those festivals and this annual festival are a celebration of Black culture. The festival will open the summer of 2022 season Memorial Day Weekend in Harlem. The mission of the festival is to both entertain the community through artists and venues, as well as to provide resources for victims of violence, economic development and social justice. Held at the world-famous Apollo Theater, the Harlem Cultural festival is an all day event for the community featuring jazz and hip-hop artists.
