Red Alert & friends featuring Case and Will Traxx

Kool DJ Red Alert is a cornerstone of early hip-hop and NYC radio mainstay who performed with Afrika Bambataa’s Universal Zulu Nation, helped popularize the “mixtape” format, and helped break Boogie Down Productions’ seminal single “South Bronx.” He brings his friends to SummerStage, including the Platinum-certified 90s R&B powerhouse Case, whose hits “Touch Me, Tease Me” and “Missing You” dominated the charts and featured prominently in Eddie Murphy’s The Nutty Professor and its sequel; and uptown party rocker Will Traxx, who cemented himself with club anthem, “Let Me See Some Footwork.”
