Okayafrica: Afrobeat x Afrobeats with Davido + Antibalas

This summer Okayafrica is hosting a FREE show that bridges the gap between Fela’s afrobeat and the contemporary Naija pop music “afrobeats” for the first time at Lincoln Center out of Doors Summer Concerts.
America’s number one afrobeat band, Antibalas will collaborate with international superstar, the Lagos-based afrobeats sensation Davido.
The two will trade-off Fela Kuti songs, Davido originals, and more, in an explosive musical mash-up of live instrumentation, Fela dancers, and the latest smash hits fresh from Nigerian dancefloors.
