High Line Halloween: Little Park of Horrors

Join us for Little Park of Horrors, a family-friendly High Line Halloween event for all ages.

Back by popular demand, this spooky Halloween event will celebrate NYC’s fierce and resilient nature, showcasing plants and creatures—both real and imagined—that come alive on the High Line at night.

Strut in your best costume, experience Halloween games and activities, transform through face painting, take family photos, dance, and have a great time. Children will experience an immersive cardboard cityscape, engage with hands-on art activities, join in the Rat Race game, marvel at a carnivorous plant puppet, and party all while being regaled by a Halloween drag emcee.

Seasonal food and drinks will also be available for purchase from your favorite High Line food vendors.

Walk-up attendees are welcome if the event is not at capacity. The event space is fully covered. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to October 26, 2025. Eventbrite registrants will be notified via email and we will post an update on our website and @highlinenyc’s X feed.

• Monster Puppet Making Workshop and Pop-up Puppet Theater with New Victory Theater
• Piet’s Plant Shop Photobooth
• Face painting
• Buttonmaking, Mask Workshop, and more Creepy Crafts with High Line Teaching Artists
• Line Dancing with Roselle Hayward and The Savvy Soul Line Dancers (1:30 – 2pm)
• And the Rat Race, an interactive puppet competition for kids!
• A performance and the emcee stylings of drag artist Miss Woman the woman, who is guaranteed to entertain kids and adults.
• Immersive cardboard wild and weedy cityscape by artist Yung Oh Le Page
