BAM Café – Soul Science Lab

The Brooklyn-based music and multimedia duo Soul Science Lab kick off BAM’s 2017 Brooklyn Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with their “innovative Afro futuristic griot” sound. The Hip-hop/Soul/Jazz duo, Chen Lo and Asante Amin, bring their spiritually positive and uplifting messages to BAM in celebration of Dr. King and their debut album, Plan for Paradise. With collective credits including work with Common, Erykah Badu, KRS-ONE, A Tribe Called Quest, Xzibit and the legendary Last Poets, Soul Science Lab is a smooth-grooving, multifaceted vision of the Afro future.
