Beastie Boy Celebration

MCA Day is a FREE, Brooklyn-based fan-organized event intended to provide a space to honor and celebrate the life, music and legacy of Beastie Boy Adam “MCA” Yauch.
MCA Day’s mission is to bring “all lifestyles, sizes, shapes, and forms” together to:

• Honor the creative, tenacious spirit and life of Adam Yauch
• Commemorate the accomplishments of the Beastie Boys through true appreciation of community, art and music
• Showcase the continuing influence of Yauch and the Beasties by sharing art & music from past and present

MCA DAY seeks to celebrate Yauch and the Beasties’ constant evolution and innovation, and also to look forward with hope at what their contributions have inspired. See last years celebration here.
