The Black Money Forum
A day of financial education in honor of Juneteenth
Education is power, and we know that communities of color are yearning to learn. For the Black Money Forum event on June 19th, we’re gathering together the biggest business leaders in the black and brown community in one room to promote one common goal: empowering the community with financial knowledge and information. Through workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, attendees will gain the skills and knowledge they need to create a positive financial impact in their lives and their communities. We believe that by increasing financial literacy, we can start to close the wealth gap and create wider opportunities for economic development. Join us at the Black Money Forum to learn how you can make a difference.
The Importance of Juneteenth
On June 19, 1865, black people were emancipated from slavery in Galveston, TX. Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom. The shackles that still restrain black people today are economic ones. On this Juneteenth, we arm people with the information they need to achieve their own freedom.
